I have watched Discovery channel in other continent long time. Those programs are various and really interesting to views but why Asia version of the channel is so awful and horrible. The programs are repeated over and over again , even the programs I watched a year ago are still on the air. Who is in charge of editing and scheduling the programs in Asia?

Viewers want to watch more various programs including from American versions to Asian versions
not only Asia version-specially about china. It seems to be a biased scheduling. More interesting contents are there across the world regarding South America or North America or Europe or Africa. Even in Asia, not only China exists but also more then 60 countries are waiting for being discovered.

I think that the person in charge of the scheduling or editing should be aware of other country's viewers and respect their comments.

I agree fully, too. I enjoy the shows on DC in general. But 3 things are really annoying:

Why must we suffer these same trailers every 10 minutes or so? It really annoying me badly. And as I know from my friends, not only me. Show your programs in full and put your program trailers at the end.

The second thing to mention is the 'americanisms' in your shows. Why is it not possible, to adapt things like temperature, distances etc. to international metric standards? Or are these shows only produced for the US? If so, I wonder, why you have something like discoveryasia in your address...

The third complaint is about the choice of topics. I agree fully with the already mentionned boring heavyweight importance on chinese topics...

One last and more general thing is the adulterating film and report documents by blanking words, peeping them out or even put mosaic on movie scenes. If you don't agree with the original footage, so don't use it. Instead of faking material and censor your programs so obviously...

It's a pity, as the programs are really Okay. Maybe there is a way, that we can watch DISCOVERY CHANNEL with joy.

I agree totally. chinese stuff's ok, but not too much.
