Is it just me or is American Chopper on more times than most programs? I don't know about other folks but I think having watched one episode of this program would be like having watched its whole season. I mean, all they do is build motorcycles and act tough and be rude. I would expect Discovery had more enlightening programs than this.

First, I'd just like to say I like the show.

Second, it's on WAY too much. I've been watching DiscoveryAsia for about 8 months now, and not only do we see the same show MANY times a week, but since I've been here I've seen some of the shows repeated 3 times! I love the show, so I am not saying that it should be cut, far from it, keep churning out those new episodes. But I am subjected to the show so many times a day and the seasons repeated over the months, that am starting to like it less and less.

A little more absence would make my heart grow fonder.

Personally I like the show. People I work with and talk with also enjoy the show.

If all you see is hotrods and rude people, you should watch a few more episodes. True you do see a fair bit of that, but if you don't wait for the finish you miss some of the most important bits.

The Teutuls are big into charitable causes. Many of the bikes they create are auctioned off and proceeds are used to support many great groups.

The show is also about how people create and adapt to changes.

And more than a little about people.

american choppers is too over rated,
i mean look at discovery back in the day,...it was all about wild discovery which was awsome. Personaly i think american choppers, american hotrods or whatever that show is, was and is a mistake for discovery, they are better than that. Sad Really.
