I have always been interested in sharks and watching programmes about sharks. I see that Discovery is going to be airing a "Shark Week". Just curious as to if anyone out there knows any controversial or any less known ways or repelling sharks when one is in water or ways to escape if under attack by sharks?

The best way to survive a shark attack is to avoid one! Sharks are most active during twilight and evening hours, and staying out of the water during those times is a sensible precaution.
