My favourite pasta dish is anything made with Pesto Sauce.
10 min. Recipe: 1 can - Pesto Sauce Some Pinenuts Pasta (any kind you like) Mushrooms/Meat or anything else you like Boil pasta in a hot water (with a dash of salt and oil to prevent the pasta from sticking together). After the pasta is cooked, drain it. In a pan, heat up some pesto sauce (3-4 spoonful for 2 people), and brown the pine nuts. (and mushrooms or other ingredients you've prepared). Add the pasta and mix it well together. If it looks too dry, add more pesto sauce. SERVE on a plate and enjoy! |

Good pasta dishes are hardly easy to prepare. You have to puree your tomatoes, chop all your herbs and spices, then prep and work your main ingredients into the sauce. It all takes time and effort.
One of my favourites is to stew maybe a rump steak or some cheaper cut in a herby puree (lots of garlic, onion, basil and rosemary) for a good 2-3 hours depending on how chunky the cuts are. I like this version of the bolognaise with noodle-ish pastas. The meat will simply melt in your mouth! |
