why do christians/jews and muslim's refer to jerusalem as the holy land? ( am i right bout the christian/jew?)

Christians - Birthplace and Crucifiction spot of Jesus;

In my opinion, Jerusalem was the birth place of christ so that why its important to the christian.

Whereas, its important to muslims because Jesus Christ was also
one of phrophet in Muslim teachings, maybe thats why its so important to them
