I understand that there might be some controversy as to the correct signal for the cu de grace(SIC?). However it would seem more logical that the signal would be the thumb to the throat for death and thumb down to drop the weapon and let the vanquished live. I would hope that the historians would get together and recitify this problem amongst the supposed intellectually adept so as to monstro unum frontus.sed ille lectus non possum.
